The three horses listed here were gifts to me over the years and I cherish their memories. They each in their own unique way were the inspiration for Seapony Farm. I do not believe that horses are here for us to tell them what we want them to do for us. Horses are here to share their wonderful spirits with us and if we are open great things will happen.

J.J. was a bit of a wild one, a barely tamed spirit, but yet such a gentleman with children and those with disabilities. He started the awakening for me to see horses’ greatest gift, their ability to heal.

Abdallah was such a powerful presence yet he mirrored the emotions of those around him with such empathy.

Kuldi, our Bear, was the most proud little horse I will ever know with such amazing patience and compassion.

So these three amazing creatures are my reminder that we need to reach a little deeper and try a little harder to cherish those around us.

Somewhere …
Somewhere in time's own space
There must be some sweet pastured place
Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow,
Some paradise where horses go.
For by the love that guides my pen
I know great horses live again.
